The employee told him that he couldn't fill an out-of-state prescription and Kleintank left the store.Around 12:55 a.m. Sunday, the employee said Kleintank approached the pharmacy again, jumped the counter with a knife and demanded, "Give me the drugs."The employee said Kleintank began lunging at him with the knife, stabbing his hands as he brought them up to protect his chest.A second employee told the deputy he had seen Kleintank before the attack and told him several times that he couldn't be in the store without shoes.
